We are told over and over again that Shopping = Stuff = Happiness. But does it really? Should it?
I for one just don't buy it...hence this blog following my quest to overcome my shopaholic tendencies to become a more conscious and sustainable consumer.

Monday & Tuesday Damages (6/21 - 6/22)

Monday
  • $12.53 - CVS (odds and ends)
  • $28.71 - Hess
Tuesday
  • $43.18 - Target (Random crap)
So amongst the random crap was a new Kong ball for Maggie Mae. I will be slowly acquiring new toys, a bowl stand (so her stomach doesn't flip while eating), a leash, clean-up bags, etc. for this beast...

(Maggie is the pup on the left, her sidekick Snickers is on the right)

Here's a little piece of knowledge for all of you dog owners out there...keep in mind that it is totally unrelated to becoming a more conscious consumer. Fill your dog's Kong with peanut butter and then freeze it. It will keep the nugget entertained for quite some time. A lovely treat for them when you leave for work. :)
